Wednesday morning
3 films and 2 meals later and I am in the BA lounge in Heathrow. I managed to get about 6 hours sleep I think. I flew premium economy which gave me a bit wider seat and more legroom. Also nearly everybody had a free seat next to them which was definitely not the case at the back of the plane. This upgrade, just on the Sin-LHR legs, cost me but I think it was worth it. Couldn't justify the extra for Business class though.
Another hour and I'll be on board for the last leg to Sofia.
The 3 different seat classes are shown with Bus on top with half the seats facing backwards.
it looked to me that if everyone was sleeping the middle 2 seats would be blocked by the outside ones and you would need to climb over. The herrinbgone seats on Cathay allowed every one to have aisle access.
Premium economy had 2-4-2 arrangement. Although we had an empty seat next door we could not actually lie across the 2 because of the arm rests.
Economy was 3-3-3 and full. Window seats had to get past 2 otehrs to get out - not my idea of fun.
